Testimonials

WOW – what a great day! We truly appreciate everything you did to make this event extra special for CORENET!

Just to name a few… the signed books, the willingness to shift your presentation from in person to virtual, the end user event (to quickly flex and design a custom program was fantastic), adding an additional location with you presenting in a studio, I could continue to list many more things you did to customize our event. What a delight it was to work with you – from the initial phone call to the last question asked in the main session today – the entire experience was easy, flexible and every outcome was filled with excellence!

The main event had a fantastic combination of storytelling from your coaching days, wise advice how your clients apply them, and how we could apply those concepts to our every-day lives (personal or professional), and executive leadership strategies and tools.  My notebook was filled with so many rich nuggets and great reminders. The first item I am going to work on based on your recommendation – now is the perfect time to focus on writing down our strengths & leveraging them. One of my favorite lines in the main session was when you challenged us to think about our Final Four Moment… that’s what I am working on now! I also believe Mental Health is the next big movement – I would love to hear more about what you are doing in this area for individuals, teams and organizations.

To sum up my day in a few words… Awesome, Excellent, Outstanding, Powerful, Motivating, Enlightening, Amazing!

We can’t wait for book Two!!

I am so happy I selected Pam Borton as my Executive Coach. I had a great experience and it was transformational to see and feel my growth as a person and leader. By diligently completing the homework assignments and pushing the limits of my comfort zone, I was able to drastically improve my emotional intelligence in the areas of interpersonal relationships and communication skills in the workplace. Pam also taught me skills to help improve my overall well-being and happiness both personally and professionally. With hard work and dedication to my goals, the accountability enabled me to improve my EQ score by 27 points in all the subscales combined. The success metrics proved that executive coaching works.

I begin reading Pam’s book as I fly home from our Women On Point Leadership event. I didn’t realize I was studying for a “leadership exam” of my own, created by a situation that was brewing back home. Pam’s personal experiences sharing, performing with grace under fire and leading with integrity, provided me exactly what I needed in that moment to rise above all the noise and lead with compassion, confidence, truth, and grace. Her willingness and ability to share her experiences as a coach and identify leadership skills I can use in my corporate career have been invaluable to me and my team.

Mindi Gascho, Director, Customer Education, Workiva

Pam Borton was the keynote speaker at Medtronic’s signature event for our Women in Science and Engineering employee group. Pam brought positive energy and was extremely effective in engaging our large group. The stories she shared were well received, and she did a great job illustrating ways to project strength and confidence as a leader (our theme for the event). Pam had a disarming style that “pulled” a lot of personal participation from the group. Based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback, I would highly recommend Pam as a speaker.

Paul Krause, Senior Director of R&D, CRHF Diagnostics, Medtronic

I transitioned from the Chief of Police from a municipality to the Chief of Police Operations at Penn State University. Pam was my senior executive coach and helped me leverage my strengths and identify opportunities in order to be a more impactful leader and take my skills to the next level. Through open and honest discussions, self-assessments, thorough follow-up and accountability, her support and guidance helped me to lay the foundation for future success for myself, team and department. Her experience in this realm is second to none, and I would highly recommend working with Pam to anyone interested in taking their leadership skills to the next level.

Keith Morris, Chief of Police Operations, Penn State University Police

Pam Borton brought her experience as a senior executive coach and a successful Division I basketball coach to the Saint Paul Police Departments (SPPD) Senior Command Staff and to the Women’s Leadership Conference. Through her stories of breaking down barriers and building high performance teams, she inspired and motivated the SPPD Commands and their teams to develop their personal roadmap and take their leadership to the next level.

Deputy Chief Mary
Nash, Saint Paul Police Department.

Our company invited Pam to be the keynote speaker for our semi-annual Executive Leadership Conference. Pam was very engaging with our group before, during, and after her presentation. Her presentation content was thought provoking and very appropriate for our group of executive leaders. I would highly recommend her.

Chuck Mausbach, Chief Executive Officer, Frandsen Financial Corporation

I highly recommend Pam Borton as a Keynote Speaker and Senior Executive Coach for your organization. As the President of Twin Cities SHRM, I have had the great opportunity to work with Pam as a speaker in planning both Minnesota State SHRM and Twin Cities SHRM Annual Conferences. The attendees at these events thoroughly enjoyed how she engaged the audience and shared her knowledge with a combination of real life experience, strategies and inspiration. Her experience as the Coach of the University of Minnesota Women’s Basketball team translates into her truly captivating and dynamic message on how to become a leader who brings their team with them to achieve results through communication, coaching and partnerships. Pam is an excellent presenter, trainer, and facilitator. She is an expert and master at reading her audience, and adjusting to their pace and needs.

Not only is Pam an inspiring presenter she is an author! Her book ON Point is a must read for leaders and managers in your organization who will benefit from her practical takeaways to be a Coach who gets results. Our board of directors has read ON Point and is applying these concepts to coach their volunteer leadership teams to improve the operations of our organization. I challenge you to invest your time to grow and develop into a stronger leader by reading Pam’s book.

Pam is very simply the definition of “Excellence”. She is highly regarded in her field and role as a consultant, keynote speaker, and executive coach. I would highly recommend Pam with and HR strategies, enhanced execution, and performance improvement without reservation. She is highly regarded in her role as a speaker, consultant and executive coach.

Sue Kruse, President, Twin Cities SHRM

Pam Borton is an authentic and dynamic speaker that engages her audience with captivating stories from her life as head coach of the Minnesota women’s basketball program and now as an executive coach and author. I have had the pleasure to hear Pam speak on two occasions and the size of the audience varied from 150 people to 1,500 people. Her stories of leadership resonated, and her facilitation on leading through transformational change was personal. Individuals walk away with a better sense of self, possibility and action points that can implemented immediately. A copy of Pam’s book, “ON Point: A Coaches Game Plan to Life, Leadership and Performance with Grace Under Fire.” is a great gift to team members as a continued learning opportunity.
